Jio's choice number scheme: What is it and how to obtain a customised Jio phone number

Customising your phone number has always been a coveted feature, but Indian telecom operators traditionally offered limited flexibility in this area. However, Jio changed the game last year with its Choice Number scheme, allowing users to customise their mobile numbers to some extent for a nominal fee.
Despite being available for over a year, many users are still unaware of how to utilise this feature to select a personalised phone number.
This guide will walk you through the Jio choice number scheme and show you how to find a customised mobile number.

What is Jio's choice number scheme?

Jio's choice number scheme enables users to select the last 4-6 digits of their mobile number by paying a nominal fee of ₹499. While users can choose their preferred digits, the availability might vary, and Jio will provide options based on the codes available in their pin codes. This feature is exclusively available to JioPlus postpaid users, who will receive a new SIM card upon opting for this scheme.
