Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 with first Google Tensor AI chip launched: Price in India, specifications and more

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 TWS earphones have been launched in India. Google says that they are designed to be Google’s most comfortable and secure-fitting earbuds. This is the first time that the tech giant is bringing a custom Tensor chip for audio and AI features.

Google Pixel Buds Pro 2 TWS earphones price in India is set at Rs 22,900. They will be available in four colours: Porcelain, Hazel, Peony and Wintergreen later this year.

Google claims that Pixel Buds Pro 2’s have been designed using 45 million data points from ear scans to come up with the optimal shape for comfort fit.
There is a twist-to-adjust stabiliser that can be used to secure the earbuds when exercising.
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 come with Tensor A1 chip that, Google claims, have helped reduce size by 27% as well as make them lighter while increasing performance and battery life. The Tensor A1 chip helps in producing advanced audio processing and Google AI. It processes audio 90 times faster than the speed of sound to adapt to the wearer’s environment.
There’s Active Noise Cancellation with Silent Seal 2.0 and 11 mm drivers for powerful bass and a new high-frequency chamber for smooth treble. Other features include Clear Calling that is claimed to reduce the noise around the person on the other side of the call.

There’s a Conversation Detection feature that uses AI to tell when you start speaking. The music gets paused and the earbuds switch to Transparency mode. When the conversation ends, the music resumes automatically, going back to Active Noise Cancellation.
Pixel Buds Pro 2 earphones also support the Find My Device network to find earbuds' precise location on a map. They are claimed to offer up to 8 hours of backup with ANC and additional 30 hours from the case.
